Abel Samaniego founded DABBEL in 2018 with the mission to offer the most scalable, cost-efficient, and sustainable software to drastically reduce CO2 emissions in commercial buildings worldwide. DABBEL AI, a cloud-based AI software add-on, increases the value of the buildings by delivering up to 40% energy savings and CO2emissions reduction. DABBEL AI aims to transform the building automation market and take building sustainability to the next level.

The industrial engineer specializing in Automation originally comes from Alicante, Spain. The idea came to Abel during a semester abroad in Poland, where he noticed how inefficient the buildings were in terms of energy consumption. After finishing his studies in Industrial Engineering in 2013, his career brought him to Germany, where he worked as Project Engineer to automate high-tech plants for the industry. There he developed DABBEL from concept to market stage with his co-founders since 2016.
