Before NCA, Mr. Cahoon was a Senior Director at RSA (the Security Division of EMC). While there, he built the most substantial security PCI/DSS framework in the world. The system was architected to handle upwards of 3 billion transactions/day (equivalent to a record-breaking Black Friday). The system is still being run today.

He is proud to have worked at NASA’s Langley Research Center in one of the most demanding and educational roles available in U.S. government service. He also founded and led a local ISP from concept to success in the early days of the consumer Internet and served in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Cahoon is a seasoned professional and sought after thought leader in the Security Solutions and IoT spaces. Throughout his career, Mr. Cahoon has been recognized as a thought leader in delivering successful technology architecture solutions and services to internal and external customers. He leads with a philosophy of placing technology at the forefront of business…while driving customer satisfaction and obsessive service as the key tenets. His passion and focus areas are on customer satisfaction, superior deliverables, and agile methodologies.

Mr. Cahoon is married and the proud father of four daughters. He and his family live in Bellevue, WA. He is a Bay Area native; however, he vastly prefers Western Washington. When he is not working, Mr. Cahoon is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys boating whenever the weather permits.
