John Burton is a serial entrepreneur with extensive expertise in technology and manufacturing. He is the co-founder and CEO of UrsaLeo, an immersive 3D platform that combines digital twin technology with real-time and historical data from IoT streams, ERP, maintenance, and other enterprise systems. In less than three years, John and his co-founder have raised funding and built a platform that is disrupting the way IoT data is visualized, collected, and analyzed while also transforming industries that include energy, construction, and manufacturing. Prior to UrsaLeo, John served as the president of Macnica Americas, formerly Octera Solutions, which he helped grow to more than $50MM in revenue. As the founder and president of Octera, John secured an acquisition from Macnica and remained as the president after the sale of the company.
