Sander Rotmensen leads an internal start-up at Siemens AG in Nuremberg, specializing in OT cybersecurity. He is responsible for SINEC Security Guard, a cloud-native solution from Siemens Digital Industries for detecting vulnerabilities and attacks based on risk assessments.

Sander Rotmensen began his career in 2005 at Siemens Nederland N.V. as a technical consultant for industrial automation networks, focusing on Industrial WLAN. In 2008, he moved to Germany to Siemens AG in Nuernberg, where he became a technical consultant for industrial wireless communication. He then became the product manager for SCALANCE W, Siemens’ Industrial WLAN portfolio. Between 2014 and 2018, he was responsible for marketing and product management of RUGGEDCOM network components at Siemens Canada Ltd., which are used in extreme industrial environments.

After returning to Germany, he took over responsibility for the product portfolio for Industrial 5G, Industrial WLAN, industrial routers, and the SINEMA Remote Connect management platform for remote access as Director of Industrial Wireless Communication Products at Siemens AG in Nuremberg.
