Steve Hanna is a Distinguished Engineer at Infineon Technologies. He currently co-chairs the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) Industrial Work Group and IoT Work Group.

Steve is a member of the Security Area Directorate in the Internet Engineering Task Force and co-chair of the Industrial IoT Security Work Group (ISA 99 WG 9) in the International Society for Automation (ISA). He has previously participated in other networking and security standards groups such as the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), Open Group, and OASIS. He is the author of several IETF, TCG, and IIC standards and published papers, an inventor or co-inventor on 48 issued U.S. and international patents, and a regular speaker at industry events. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.
